SEVEN DIALS TATTOO

Extreme Needle Studios were established in London’s Chinatown in 2006.

We steadily expanded our business and had studios in Leicester Square, Cranbourne Street, Bear Street and not forgetting our studio off Berwick Street in Soho.

We eventually consolidated all our studios into one location and made 36 St Martin’s Court in Covent Garden our permanent home.

Covent Garden is a huge piazza area in London, between the West End and the City of London. It is north of The Strand and east of Trafalgar Square. Once it was a huge fruit, vegetable and flower market with many taverns, theatres, coffee-houses, prostitutes and brothels.

During the Pandemic, we as a team stuck together and supported each other as did our loyal customers and neighbours for which we are truly grateful.

This positive energy led us to the conclusion that we had to evolve and grow to ensure that we continued on our adventure.

Community means more to us now than ever before. We wanted to reflect this by rebranding and changing our name to Seven Dials Tattoo, which is a prominent area less than a 5 minutes walk away. 

Dickens, in “Sketches by Boz” wrote, “The stranger who finds himself in the Dials for the first time…at the entrance of Seven obscure passages, uncertain which to take, will see enough around him to keep his curiosity awake for no inconsiderable time…”

So the journey continues. We want to thank every one of our loyal and devoted customers who made it possible to follow our dreams and create breathing works of art.
